It’s pretty bad when you live in your long underwear. I look forward to the night when I can go to bed, remove my socks and long underwear without the thought of freezing during the night to get up to go to the bathroom or let the dog out. Winters are not as long here as they are in the New England states. Don’t think I would survive happily if I had to endure this cold for any longer. Luckily we have a warm day or two and then back to the wet and cold.

When the temperature goes below 60 degrees, on go the “long johns”. It has been one cold and wet winter so far. We had snow last Friday and it was beautiful at first, but then it rained and froze on the limbs of the trees. We were concerned the electricity would get turned off and having really no other source for heat, it was a thought I didn’t want to entertain. But luckily the power didn’t go off and the temperature warmed up enough to start melting everything. Come on spring, I’m ready for you!
